Introduction to university courses in nursing
The number of courses in bachelor's degree in nursing is 130 units and the duration of the bachelor's degree in this field of study is at least 4 years and at most 5 years. After graduation from bachelor, it is possible for students to continue studying at master's and PhD degrees. Courses in this field of study can be divided into two categories: basic sciences and specialized sciences.
Basic courses include parasitology, microbiology, biochemistry, immunology, anatomy and physiology. Specialized courses include health nursing, community health nursing, maternal and infant nursing, internal diseases, diseases and related nursing, nursing ethics, and emergency nursing.
Required skills to work in the nursing profession
A nurse is the person who deals the most with patients and their companions in the hospital, so perfect physical and mental health is a prerequisite for the nursing profession. The nurse must love to serve people and have the necessary patience and interest for this profession. The nurse must have a regular and precise personality because regularity and accuracy are the basis of this field. The nurse must have complete mental and psychological control over himself/herself in order to be able to treat patients and their companions appropriately in the most difficult physical and mental conditions.
In addition, the nursing student must be in perfect physical health because seemingly minor problems such as hand tremors and stuttering can severely reduce a nurse's performance. Applicants must also have mastered some of the high school courses including English, Chemistry and Biology.

There are three levels of bachelor, master and PhD in nursing. In bachelor of nursing, there isn’t any special orientation, but in master's degree of nursing, there are several areas of study.
