Admission Process

Persian language, also called Farsi, is one of the oldest languages of the world and one of the few remaining alive after several thousands of years. It is the official language of Iran, and two varieties of Persian known as Dari and Tajik are official languages in Afghanistan and Tajikistan.

Teaching lessons at Iranian universities are primarily delivered in a Persian language and good command of Persian language is an essential factor for your overall success in academic studies in Iran. Although there are also international academic studies available which, due to their international format, cover lessons in English language, however, these programs often come in a combination with teachings in a Persian language. So, universities in Iran always require from their foreign students to prove that they have a Persian language proficiency before starting their study or during their study in Iran.

In general, master students first participate in Persian language courses for 3 to 6 months and then start their academic courses, but PhD students can start Persian language courses and academic courses simultaneously in the first semester. Usually, Persian language courses last 3 to 6 months to complete based on your program, your grounding knowledge in Persian language and policies of the university that you are admitted.

There are several centers and institutes that provide high quality courses in Persian language in Iran. Some universities prefer to provide language courses for their foreign students in their own language centers and some of them refer their students to national centers and institutes.

We cooperate with some language centers and institutes and register you in the best one and schedule everything before your travel to Iran.
